The newly converted B&B offers four rooms — three twins and one double — all with private ensuite shower rooms. Rooms have views across the rocky gorges and the River Berre to the front, or mountain views to the rear.
Each morning a full breakfast is served, the perfect start before heading out to explore the National Park, nearby vineyards, medieval villages, and the Mediterranean coast just 30 minutes away.
Bed linen, towels, toiletries, and a welcome pack (wine, pastries, milk, butter, coffee, tea & jam) are provided for all guests. Free fast WiFi and air conditioning throughout.
Reserve a Room or All Four Guest Rooms
As well as booking individual en-suite chambres d’hôtes, families and groups can reserve all four guest rooms together.
Available for a minimum stay of seven nights, this option accommodates up to eight guests and includes exclusive use of the guest kitchen, breakfast room and dining area, creating a comfortable and private space for your stay.
Step outside onto the terrace to enjoy sweeping views across the rocky gorges and the River Berre, or head down to our private riverbank for a swim. At the rear of the property, you’ll have exclusive use of the peaceful Zen garden, complete with a decked seating area, Japanese maples, a hot tub (for 4–6 guests), outdoor dining for up to eight, and a gas barbecue.

Villa Ripaud is situated in the National Park of “la Narbonnaise en Méditerranée” with breath-taking scenery.
The grounds offer over a hectare of land for guests’ use with private access to a swimming river which runs along the
edge of the garden. The whole property is surrounded by beautiful mountains and unspoilt nature.
The front garden has a terrace where you can relax with a chilled drink after swimming in the river, or enjoy a picnic in the sunshine. The surrounding National Park has stunning hiking trails right on the doorstep.
To the rear of the apartment is a private decked area for guests’ sole use, planted with Japanese maples. It features a dining table and chairs for 8, and a gas barbecue.
Relax in the hot tub after a busy day swimming and sightseeing, fire up the barbecue for an evening meal, and enjoy a glass of chilled wine under the stars with family or friends.
The Zen Garden is included exclusively with the Holiday Apartment.

The property sits within a protected National Park — so the scenery you enjoy today will be here for future generations to discover too.

Just a short drive from Villa Ripaud, the picturesque village of Fontjoncouse is home to the internationally renowned Auberge du Vieux Puits, one of France’s finest restaurants with three Michelin stars.
Even if you’re not dining there, the village itself is well worth a visit for its peaceful atmosphere and beautiful countryside.
Just seven kilometres from Villa Ripaud, the charming village of Durban-Corbières offers a supermarket, bakery and restaurants, making it an ideal place to pick up supplies or enjoy a leisurely lunch.
Overlooking the village are the impressive ruins of the medieval Château de Durban, which are well worth exploring and offer beautiful views across the surrounding countryside.

In the village of Portel-des-Corbieres, on the heights of a majestic landscape, you will have the opportunity to hop on the “Terra-Vinea Express” that will take you to the doors of the depths of the Earth. Immerse yourself in the shoes of the archaeologist that discovered behind a wall of stone, this exceptional site, suspended in time.
On the edge of the Bages-Sigean salt lake, at the mouth of the river Berre and around a zone composed of salt marshes lies the site of the Sigean African Reserve. It houses more than 3,800 animals on more than 300 hectares of land. An animal park where the animals are free to wander, the open spaces provide ideal conditions for the animals to be able to keep their “wild” behaviour.

Located at the edge of the lake of doul, Peyriac-de-Mer enjoys an extraordinary light which transforms the landscapes according to the time of the day.
An ideal place to walk with its lively village square, it’s streets that have preserved the doorways with traces of the Templar crosses…It lies on the edge of the beaches of lake Doul.
You can swim there with the sensation of being weightless like in the heart of the dead sea. Flamingos, walks and beautiful vistas… Peyriac-de-Mer is well worth a visit.

10 minutes from Narbonne, enter the heart of a preserved and private universe, a listed heritage which has preserved within its walls the architectural riches and the spirituality of the men who occupied it. Visit the inside of the Abbey de Frontfroide and its gardens and/or take a walk in the surrounding countryside. You can also have lunch in the restaurant and visit the Wine Cave.

Easy and pleasant to discover on foot, you can stroll through the medieval streets of the Bourg and enter the Saint-Paul Basilica, then go the cite district where the visit of the Palace-museaum of the Archbishops and the sainJust Cathedral and Saint-Pastuer is a must. The Via Domitia (former Roman road), the Horreum (former Roman warehouse). Are all exception places to discover in Narbonne.
